Planning your adult’s horse riding holidays

We cater for riders of all levels and all disciplines.

Beginners that want to spend a few days improving their skills intensively, those that are wishing to own their own horse one day, or those that are confident and experienced and just want to crack on!

Hacking out & country rides

We live in the beautiful valley of Nidderdale, North Yorkshire – an area of outstanding natural beauty. Riding out is in the valley and over the moors. With easy access to country lanes and open moorland hacking out can either be for just a few hours or for full-day rides.

Riding lessons

Our riding school has both indoor and outdoor arenas for improving our skills, plus a set of cross-country training fences. Our lessons include dressage, jumping, x-country, hacking or overall improvement in your riding such as your seat and the use of correct positions/muscles. Theory sessions and plenty of practical experiences also included in between the riding sessions (with tea and biscuits of course!). For those that LOVE to ride out we can offer a variety of different rides starting from 1 hr building up to half or even a full day ride depending on the weather and the riders’ fitness. All our horses are well-mannered school horses, but own horses are also welcome.
