On 7th October we are starting our indoor showjumping competition from 4:45 onwards. It will start from the clear rounds, work up to 95 cm. It is the final round of the summer points series, so if you’ve participated at all through the summer be sure to come along! Its £4 per round for the clear round, rest of the classes are £5 per go. From now we are starting to offer children’s group lesson after school through the week, the cost of these is £17 per child for 1 hour.
We are also offering adult group lessons through the daytime and after work. These cost £22 per rider for the hour.

FUN, COMPETITIVE CLASSES, DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE YOUNG OR NOVICE HORSES AND RIDERS AND BUILD CONFIDENCE!
All rounds will be timed, fastest clear round wins. Rosettes to 6th place if numbers allow and prizes to be given in kind, points awarded to each competitor placed and a loyalty point to all for each class entered. The rider with most points at the end of the series will receive a trophy and goody bag.
The series takes place on Wednesday evening on the following dates. With the first class starting promptly at 5pm.

This is a great chance to develop and improve your practical skills that will improve your opportunities to work professionally within the equine industry. The development and practice of new skills are delivered through work based learning during your paid employment.
There are a range of study related activities provided by Askham Bryan College to support your overall skills development and to monitor your progress.
Whilst at the the stables there will plenty of opportunities for you to ride our horses and improve your skills both in flatwork and jumping.
You need an enthusiasm and love of horses and to enjoy working outdoors. Ideal opportunity for young men & women aged 16-24 years.
